Whitewater Lacrosse was born of a vision to add the great game of Lacrosse to the schools existing line up of student sports. Lacrosse is a native American game that goes back centuries making it the oldest sport in North America. The first club lacrosse teams at WHS were originally part of the Fayette County Lacrosse Association in the Spring of 2006. In 2007 the Whitewater club teams were stand alone teams playing in the North Georgia Lacrosse League with both the girls and boys teams in the top three of the league. In 2008 the teams became official GHSA teams joining two other Fayette county high school teams. In 2009 the girl's team had a winning season, coming in second in the area and made it to the first level of the GHSA playoffs.

As we go forward we look to be an organization of excellence, striving to continue to improve our individual players, our team, and our organization as we represent Whitewater High School on the field and in the community.
